Are you still relying on disposable abrasives for surface preparation? By transitioning to recycled steel grit or a combination of grit, you can effectively reduce your project expenses. With an ARS C2m Recycler you can seamlessly switch from using grit on the internal tank to mineral on the external.

Let’s examine the total cost of a typical 20,000 sq. ft. tank project using steel grit or a combination of steel grit and mineral compared to using only mineral. 

Application: 20,000 sq.ft. Tank /total blast area 40,000 sq. ft.

ARS’s C-Series offers a smaller footprint that can easily maneuver around petro tanks.

Abrasive Type:

1. Steel Grit Only: Achieve maximum project savings by utilizing recycled steel grit for both external and internal blasting. External blast containment will be necessary. Total project cost: $13,654 (excludes containment).

2. Combo (Recycled Steel Grit/Mineral): If you prefer not to use containment for the external tank but still want the advantages of recycled steel grit, consider blasting the internal tank with steel grit and using mineral for the external surface. With the ARS C2m, you can efficiently blast with both mineral and grit without requiring additional equipment. Total project cost: $73,470.

If a single-use mineral is utilized for blasting this project, the total cost will amount to $132,337. This cost is substantially higher compared to the other two available processes. Such increased expenses across multiple tanks translate to significant financial losses.
